This necklace is very special, these beads are made in Africa by women who specifically learned this craft to support their family. They were taught by a team of people who were put forth with a task of teaching women a life skill that was environmentally friendly. Recycled glass is plentiful in Africa and it was a natural marriage! The beautiful sea blue of these beads are contrasted by the handmade irregular, rough shape . They are truly awesome! The beads are about the size of a quarter...they are big and the clasp is also an extra large clasp. It is meant to be worn in the front, but can be worn either way!
Brushed silver accent beads flank each side of the beads and they are all hand wire wrapped with sterling wire.
